The philatelic publication is a joint initiative of the Polish Post and the Swedish Post.

The stamp depicts Czesław Słania during the engraving process. Along the left side are the inscription "Poland" and the value of PLN 15.30, as well as the inscription "100th anniversary of the birth of Czesław Słania."

The stamp appears on a steel engraving plate. The cover also features: Czesław Słania's ID photograph in the upper left corner, a magnifying glass below, and the stamp design for "The Battle of Grunwald"—Słania's diploma thesis. The magnifying glass is in the upper right corner, and a stylus along the right side of the block. The stamp design also includes microtexts relating to Słania's artistic endeavors, providing a philatelic curiosity for collectors.
