Use of unnecessary stamps to pay for letter shipments in new formats
On April 1, 2019, Poczta Polska introduces formats for universal letter shipments in national trade. Poczta Polska customers will be able to send letter parcels in three new S, M and L formats, which will depend on the size of the parcel and its mass.
Customers who purchased stamps categorized before changing the price list of universal services in domestic and foreign trading, i.e. by March 31, 2019, will be able to use them to pay a letter in a new format, without paying an additional fee.
Current stamp categorized to 350 g Gab. And it will be used to pay the S format . Shipments in M format can be paid using the GA stamp. And up to 1,000 g, while the L -format can be paid with stamps: GAB.B up to 350 g, Gab. B up to 1,000 g and Gab stamps. A and Gab. B up to 2,000 g.
Such a model applies when paying unregistered and registered domestic shipments, both for the economic and priority class.
In the case of postage stamps with letter designation A and B, from April 1, 2019, customers will be able to use them to pay for letter shipments in new formats as follows:
- postage stamps with a letter marking A will be used to pay a fee for an economic letter unregistered in domestic turnover S format,
- Postal stamps with letter B will be used to pay a fee for a priority letter unregistered in domestic turnover Format S.
