Exchange currency at the post office
The busy holiday season is upon us, and air traffic in Poland's airspace is about to resume. For those traveling abroad for work, family, or simply for vacation, Poczta Polska offers currency exchange at its network of over 800 post offices nationwide, or online.
All Poczta Polska stationary currency exchange offices offer a list of standard currencies: EUR (euro), USD (US dollar), CHF (Swiss franc), and GBP (British pound). In some locations, you can also exchange Hungarian forints, Czech, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish kronas, as well as Ukrainian hryvnias.
Customers can complete their transaction at the most convenient location, which they can find using the search engine available here . Simply select the city and check the "Currency exchange" box on the list of services offered at post offices. On the Poczta Polska website, you can also order the required amount of currency and pick it up at any currency exchange office operating at one of our branches.
We offer competitive exchange rates, taking into account seasonal demand. For purchases of foreign currencies exceeding 1,000 PLN, we offer the option of negotiating the exchange rate.

To exchange currencies, you must complete a registration process, which includes setting up login details for the currency panel. Clients will gain access to their personal currency panel, which records all currency purchase and sale transactions. Subsequent transactions are completed after logging in to their profile. Both direct online exchange and ATM withdrawals are available. These transactions can be completed quickly, efficiently, and above all, safely, without leaving home. Furthermore, the service provider offers free foreign currency and PLN transfers to 13 partner banks. An additional advantage is the speed of processing these transfers – up to 15 minutes.
In addition to currency exchange at the online currency exchange office, a number of free services are offered, including:
- An exchange rate alert allows the client to immediately receive an SMS notification that a given currency has reached the desired rate. The alert is set up in seconds in the client panel – simply enter the currency pair
and the desired exchange rate; - Deferred payment exchanges allow for currency exchange at the exchange rate applicable at the time of the transaction, with funds available for transfer within two business days. This solution allows for the most advantageous exchange rate, even if the client does not currently have funds in their wallet.
