We invite you to the Transport Days in Krakow
We invite you to the Transport Days! The event in Krakow will take place on September 21st in three locations: at Krakow Główny station from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Krakow Płaszów station from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and at Jan Nowak Jeziorański Square from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
The program includes demonstrations by the Railway Protection Guard, workshops on train route programming, a decibel meter test, a mini railway town, a road traffic town, an exhibition of specialized transport service vehicles, a virtual reality bus and race car driving simulator, as well as numerous competitions, workshops, and prizes.
Participants will also be able to tour the rolling stock, take a ride on a historic train that will run on the Kraków Główny – Kraków Płaszów route, and see a unique, grand parade of diesel and electric locomotives representing a cross-section of rolling stock technology.
There will also be plenty of musical entertainment – Mateusz Ziółko and his band will perform on the stage at Jan Nowak Jeziorański Square.
For children, there are a number of games, workshops, competitions and entertainment with prizes, photo booths and lots of sweets.
The idea of the event
Transport Days is a free, publicly accessible event aimed at familiarizing participants with the broadly understood transport of the road, rail and air sectors, as well as the functioning of entities providing transport services, including research and scientific institutes, inspectorates and agencies.
