We invite you to the Transport Day at the Polish Post Office
This coming Saturday, September 14th, Warsaw will host Transport Day – an event organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Infrastructure. It's a real treat for aviation, rail, and automotive enthusiasts. Guests will be able to explore locations typically inaccessible to LOT Polish Airlines, PKP (Polish State Railways), or Poczta Polska (Polish Post). At each location, guests will be able to collect special commemorative stamps – prizes will be awarded to the first 1,000 people to collect all six stamps.
Transport Day will be held in 6 locations – one of them is the Warsaw Shipping and Distribution Hub of Poczta Polska at 8 Łączyny Street. We invite you on September 14th this year from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Polish Post has prepared a host of attractions for its guests. Guests will be able to see up close the trucks that transport our parcels daily, including the newest addition to the postal fleet – electric vehicles. Those interested in cash logistics will have access to the interior of a bank vehicle. A pallet truck will be on display in the yard. What route does a parcel take before reaching its recipient? How does the sorting machine know where to send our letter? These puzzles will be solved during a tour of the Forwarding and Distribution Hub. There will also be attractions for children. Children are invited to design a postcard, learn the basics of first aid, and try their hand at Spartakiad and logic games. Tired parents can enjoy a massage performed by students from the Center for Vocational and Continuing Education in Warsaw.
