Changes to the regulations for courier and parcel services

We would like to inform you that as of June 3, 2019, the Regulations for the provision of the Pocztex service in domestic circulation and the Regulations for the provision of the non-universal postal service Paczka+ in domestic circulation for customers without a concluded written contract are changing.

The new regulations include changes related to the development of the postal machine network, and standardized parameters for parcel delivery in the "Pick-up at POINT" option, i.e.:

  • the possibility of sending Pocztex parcels to postal machines in the Ekspres 24 service has been introduced,
  • the possibility of sending parcels to all collection points using traditional shipping labels has been made available,
  • the storage time of parcels in the postal machine has been reduced to two days;
  • the option to select the additional Ekspres service for Paczka+ shipments sent with the "Pick-up at POINT" option has been disabled.

Detailed information about the “Pick-up at Point” delivery option is available here .

From June, customers without a written contract will be able to place an order for courier pickup only via the electronic form available at https://www.pocztex.pl/zamow-kuriera/ or post the courier shipment directly at a selected post office.

Additionally, for Pocztex shipments sent via Ekspres 24, the courier will make two delivery attempts, one day after the other. If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, a second attempt will be made the following business day. If the second delivery attempt is also unsuccessful, the shipment will be held at the post office for 7 days from the date the pickup notification is sent.

The regulations also include provisions specifying the permissible weight of parcels sent in envelopes (the maximum weight of the parcel will be up to 5 kg).
