Kozminski University and Poczta Polska begin cooperation to develop leaders

Kozminski University and Poczta Polska SA have signed a letter of intent concerning educational, development, and expert cooperation. The agreement paves the way for the implementation of tailor-made programs for Poczta Polska's management staff, postgraduate studies, knowledge dissemination projects, scientific and implementation research, case studies, and activities supporting the development of strategic competencies in one of the key institutions of the Polish economy.

Kozminski University and Poczta Polska SA have expressed their willingness to cooperate in the areas of management education, competency development, research projects, and initiatives supporting knowledge exchange between the university and its socio-economic environment. The letter of intent was signed by Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University, and Sławomir Żurawski, Acting President of Poczta Polska.

The collaboration may include, among other things, Kozminski University's implementation of tailored development programs and postgraduate studies for Poczta Polska employees, participation of company representatives in courses, training sessions, and open programs, as well as joint activities related to student events, job fairs, internships, and apprenticeships. The letter of intent also provides for the possibility of collaboration on research and implementation projects, the development of case studies, image and communication activities, as well as support in strategic management and the interpretation of macroeconomic aspects relevant to Poczta Polska's operations.

Poczta Polska is an institution of vital importance to the functioning of the state, carrying out tasks in the areas of postal, logistics, and digital services. The scale of the organization's operations, its nationwide presence, and evolving customer expectations make the development of managerial, leadership, and organizational competencies a key element of further transformation. Therefore, cooperation can encompass not only the development of managerial competencies but also the creation of solutions that address the real strategic, organizational, and macroeconomic challenges facing large public and economic institutions. Kozminski University brings to this collaboration its experience in educating leaders, designing executive education, conducting scientific research, and collaborating with businesses and public institutions.

"Modern organizations need leaders who can combine strategic thinking, social responsibility, operational efficiency, and a willingness to act in a changing environment. Our collaboration with Poczta Polska is important to us because it involves an organization of immense importance to the state and the daily lives of millions of citizens. We want to support the development of competencies that help such institutions operate effectively, responsibly, and with a vision for the future," says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.

The letter of intent encompasses a wide range of possible activities: from development programs and postgraduate studies, through participation in training and open courses, to collaboration on student events, image-building activities, knowledge dissemination projects, and scientific research. This collaboration combines an academic perspective with the practical experience of a large organization operating in an environment of intense market, technological, and social change. It also provides an opportunity to build a bridge between management education and real-world organizational challenges.

Effective transformation of Poczta Polska means not only investing in technology and logistics, but above all, investing in people and modern leadership. Collaborating with Leon Kozminski University is a strategic step towards professionalizing our workforce and building a learning organization that can agilely respond to the challenges of a challenging market. I believe that combining the unique experience of Poczta Polska with the expert knowledge of Poland's best business school will truly empower our leaders in the process of the significant changes we face, " emphasizes Sławomir Żurawski, acting CEO of Poczta Polska.

The signing of the letter of intent aligns with the mission of Kozminski University, which develops education and research that responds to the real needs of the economy, the labor market, and public institutions. The university consistently builds partnerships with organizations for which competence development, professionalization of management, and responsible transformation are of strategic importance. The collaboration with Poczta Polska also demonstrates that management education can be an important tool for strengthening large organizations – not only by imparting knowledge but also by creating a space for reflection, exchanging experiences, conducting implementation research, developing case studies, and designing solutions that address future challenges.
