Possible delays in delivering postal items to Italy
Poczta Polska informs that delays in the delivery of parcels to Italy are to be expected due to the Italian government's decree on restricting movement throughout Italy in order to minimize the risk of spreading the coronavirus and the decisions of airlines to significantly reduce or temporarily suspend connections to Italy.
There are zones in Italy that are excluded from all universal services to the public. Poste Italiane (Italian Post) accepts mail from abroad, but distribution to these excluded zones is suspended until they are lifted. Services in the remaining areas are being provided as the current situation allows (temporary restrictions on mail transport and delivery are in place).
