A new edition of the Postal Career Academy has started
Several hundred students and graduates from across Poland have applied for the new edition of the paid internship program organized by Poczta Polska. Twenty-two candidates who best met the recruitment requirements were selected. Over the next three months, they will learn the ins and outs of working in various departments of one of Poland's largest companies.
"This is the latest edition of the Postal Career Academy, and candidates from all over Poland are eager to apply. Some participants will later permanently join the community of 50,000 postal workers, which we are very pleased about," says Paulina Stronczyńska, Director of the Recruitment and HR Business Partners Office at Poczta Polska. She explains the program's goals: "The ongoing transformation process at Poczta Polska is a long-term endeavor, aimed at transforming the company into a modern logistics, financial, and commercial organization. To achieve this effectively, it is necessary to find employees with competencies useful in various areas of business, including young people whose creativity and dynamism support the company's development."
This is how the program works
The Postal Career Academy is a program in its sixth year. The current edition began in July and will run until the end of September. The project was designed for students (third-year undergraduates, fourth- and fifth-year master's students) and graduates (up to 30 years old) who want to gain practical professional experience.
New interns participate in real-world projects, learn from experienced employees, and develop their skills. As part of the program, they will also visit a Poczta Polska sorting office and post offices.
Where did the interns go?
Interns were assigned to selected departments at the Post Office headquarters and in regions across Poland. These included the IT Department, Logistics Department, Transport Fleet Department, International Operations Department, Marketing Research Department, Training Planning and Organization Department, Costing and Accounting Department, Compliance Department, Litigation and Labor Law Department, Financial Policy Department, and External Branch Network Management Department.
From the Academy to a permanent job
The program's goal is to train specialists who, upon completion of their internship, will be ready to pursue independent work. The Postal Career Academy doesn't end with a three-month internship. For the most committed and outstanding participants who demonstrate initiative, reliability, and a desire for further development, Poczta Polska offers the opportunity to continue their collaboration with permanent employment.
