Significant improvement in the timeliness of registered letter delivery

Poczta Polska is consistently improving the quality of its services. In the second quarter of 2026, the company achieved very high levels of on-time delivery of registered mail, exceeding the quality indicators set for the designated operator.

The greatest improvement was seen in registered mail. On-time delivery of priority registered mail increased from 94.1% in the first quarter to 97.3% in the second quarter of this year. Even greater improvement was achieved in the economy registered mail segment, where the rate increased from 92.5% to 98.1%. Importantly, both indicators are now significantly higher than they were in all quarters of last year.

The improvement also extended to other registered mail. On-time delivery of long-distance business mail rose to 96.4%, and PUH mail to 91%.

"Customers and the quality of our services are our priorities, so we are pleased that our actions are yielding results in the form of improved timeliness," says Sławomir Żurawski, Vice President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska for Operations. "Of course, we are aware that we still have a lot of work ahead of us. We want not only to maintain high delivery times but also to consistently improve the quality of all services. We will make every effort to ensure our operations are even more efficient.".

The results achieved are the result of numerous activities undertaken in recent months to improve the efficiency of operational processes and delivery organization. Poczta Polska is gradually streamlining the organization of its delivery service, increasing the efficiency of logistics processes, investing in process automation, increasing sorting to the delivery area level, and implementing solutions that improve resource planning and management. Solutions have also been adopted to streamline the recruitment and employment of postmen in areas where vacancies for this position occur. These activities translate into a steady improvement in the quality of services provided.
