Renata Kordasiewicz
- Head of the Post Office
I started working at Poczta Polska in 1995 in a customer service position. As I completed vocational courses, studies, and won professional competitions, I was offered positions managing increasingly larger post offices. For the past 12 years, I have worked as the head of the post office in Pszczyna.
Although the basic tasks in all post offices are the same, each office is different. Large offices require employees in many different positions – we have more mail to process and deliver, and a larger number of customers. Anyone who interacts with customers – whether face-to-face or by phone – must be familiar with the services, regulations, and procedures for letters, parcels, financial services, and other products. When delivering a letter or accepting a parcel, we must do everything meticulously and in accordance with legal requirements, something customers are not always aware of.
A post office is a manager and a dedicated staff. The people I work with every day are wonderful and exceptional people. Together, we not only work to achieve the best possible results and customer satisfaction, but we also help each other in professional and personal matters, learning from each other. We also engage in social projects , such as preparing Christmas parcels for disadvantaged children in our region. Helping others brings more positive people and good relationships into our lives.
When I have time for myself, I read books, listen to music, and work in the garden. But I think I relax most in the kitchen, creating inventive sweet treats. I love seeing the results of my efforts, even outside of work.

I've been working at Poczta Polska (Polish Post) for six years, always in the parcels industry, so I have many personal observations from various positions. I started my career sorting courier shipments, international parcels, and oversized shipments (those exceeding standard dimensions). Later, I was the chief warehouseman, and currently I'm a shift manager, responsible for a team of employees sorting KEP shipments at the Zabrze sorting facility.
